2 days (October 9 and 10, 2014)Teaching Well with Read Well

This session is designed for both new and experienced teachers of Read Well. Help high performers soar and low performers approach grade level.
The session will be of value to staff using any of the following components for core and/or intervention: Read Well K Small Group, Read Well 1 (and Read Well 1 Plus), and Read Well 2 (including Fluency Foundations and Read Well 2 Plus).
Topics will include improving student achievement via
- Effective training and instruction
- Motivation and management strategies
- Progress monitoring and pacing
- Data sharing and diagnostic problem solving
- An understanding of Read Well within the context of the CCSS
Special Note on the CCSS/Read Well Connection:
From 3:30–4:30 on Thursday Oct. 9, participants will be invited to attend a special optional but targeted session on Read Well and the CCSS with Marilyn and Ann Watanabe.
